Billing & plans

Brivio uses Stripe for subscription billing. All checkouts and payment-method updates happen on Stripe's hosted surfaces — your card details never touch our servers.

Subscribe

1. Go to Settings → Billing.
2. Pick monthly or yearly billing (yearly is ~17% cheaper).
3. Click Subscribe on the plan you want.
4. You'll be redirected to Stripe Checkout. Complete the form.
5. Stripe redirects you back; the webhook updates your subscription row within a few seconds.

Switch plan

Click Manage billing on the same page — this opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can:

• Upgrade / downgrade (proration is automatic)
• Switch between monthly and yearly
• Update payment method
• Download paid invoices
• Cancel at period end

Failed payments

If a renewal charge fails, you'll get an email with a deep link back to Settings → Billing. Stripe retries automatically over the next ~7 days. Each failed attempt is logged on your audit hash chain for compliance evidence.

VAT

Romanian organizations pay VAT-exclusive prices; your CUI is collected at checkout for reverse-charge invoicing.
