Where does the company data come from?

Every public company profile combines official, public sources only:

• ANAF — tax status, VAT registration, cash-accounting VAT, RO e-Factura enrolment — queried through ANAF’s public web service.
• ONRC / Trade Register — registration number, legal form, company state (active, struck off, dissolution, insolvency), authorised CAEN codes — from ONRC’s open datasets.
• Ministry of Finance — annual financial statement indicators (turnover, profit, employees, equity) — from the Ministry’s open data.
• Official Gazette and the legislative portal — the legal texts in the Legislation section, linked to the official act.

How often is the data refreshed?

• ANAF tax status is re-checked when a profile is visited and periodically in the background.
• ONRC and financial data reload when a new official dataset is published (usually yearly for financial statements).
• Every profile shows the date of its last check and exposes it in its structured data (dateModified).

Which profiles do we submit to search engines?

We publish every company in the register, but our sitemap only submits active companies with at least one financial statement showing activity, so people searching for a company land on pages with real information, not empty listings.

Who writes the tax guides?

Guides, calculators and pages on e-Factura, VAT or payroll are written by the Brivio team and carry the author’s name. Every tax text cites the source legal act and shows the date it was last checked. When the law changes, we update the page and the date.

Do we use artificial intelligence?

We use AI to extract and structure data from official documents and as a drafting assistant. No figure, rate or tax deadline is published without a human checking it against the official source.

How do I request a correction?

If information about your company is wrong, claim the profile from the company page and update its public data, or write to support@brivio.ro. For a mistake in a guide, use the same address; we correct it and note the update date.
